UMBC promotes holistic health and well-being for all students. Gifts to this fund ensures that future generations of Retrievers have access to excellent facilities, sports, fitness/wellness, and play. More specifically, helping us provide students with meaningful professional development opportunities or assisting the Recreation program to place resources where they are most immediately needed. We at UMBC Recreation appreciate the generosity of our alumni, friends and campus community. Donations will be used to enhance the services we provide for Retriever Nation. With your help, we can improve our programs and facilities, and provide valuable experiences for our students that stimulate the mind and the body. There’s no better way to help celebrate 50+ years of recreation at UMBC than to support our campaign that will benefit our greatest asset, our student employees. UMBC Recreation employs more than 150 students annually and this support aids the continual development of leadership skills and technical abilities beyond the scope of their campus job along with helping them prepare for a future career.
