UMBC Fencing is a recreational club and intercollegiate team sporting organization that provides fencing instruction and competition experience to students at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Most of our fencers begin fencing in college and we are supported by alumni coaches. We are one of the oldest programs at UMBC, having had fencing on campus since the 1970s. We provide students with a network of friends and support, athletic training and competitive opportunities, and a chance to engage in something unique.
