Welcome to UMBC Club Crew! We welcome athletes of all skill levels whether you’ve been rowing for your whole life or have never been in a boat before. Many of our members have never rowed before joining the club and would love to teach and row with you all! Rowing is an easy sport to pick up that will give you a great workout and the opportunity to make new friends. In the Fall and Spring seasons, we send our rowers who want to compete to regattas where they will race against other schools and their crew teams. Practices are from 5 am to 7 am Monday through Thursday where we either get a great workout in the RAC or go to our boathouse just 10 minutes away from campus in Baltimore.
For those not sure if Crew is for them, we invite you to come to a couple of practices and see how you like it!
